You are invited!! πŸŽ„πŸŽΆπŸŽ΅πŸŽ„

Jean Galbraith, has been providing our music on both organ and piano for Sunday Worship for the past four months. It has been wonderful to hear the organ played each Sunday!! Jean moved to Belleville from Kitchener and has extensive experience in church music and choir conducting which she hopes to share with this congregation with some choral music for Christmas!!

Here is Jean’s invitation for the Christmas season:

“As the music person at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, I am hoping that it might be possible to add some extra choral music to celebrate the Christmas services.

If there is anyone interested in joining in for this activity, please let me or a member of the Worship and Music Committee know.

Music chosen will be easily learned, so even if you are a non-music reader, but like to sing, please do join in.  Enthusiasm is a great asset!

My suggestion for practices is to hold them immediately after the service for the 4 weeks of Advent, -depending on the schedules of those attending- with the possibility of one extra practice at a time convenient for those participating. However, I am fine to alter this schedule if it works best for the majority.

I also have a small 2 octave set of hand chimes available to use. Again, if anyone is interested in participating in a small hand chime choir for Christmas, please let me know.  No music reading is necessary, but…would be an asset. If there are enough folks, practices will be arranged for a convenient time, during the Advent season.”
